How to lose weight, lose weight fast, lose weight quickly are all popular headlines and draw a lot of attention from people struggling with their weight. There are so many fad diets available that it is mind boggling. Weight loss products and programs are a billion dollar business world wide. The truth is that there are many viable weight loss programs available today.
Programs such as Nutri-System, Jenny Craig, Weigh Watchers, etc. all provide good weight loss solutions. There are many others, but there are far too many to try to list them here. The problem is that once people lose the weight they set out to lose, they go off the diet and put the weight back on. Sometimes more than they lost. How many times have you seen celebrities like Oprah Winfrey or Kirsty Alley lose weight and put it back on? They were successful in losing their weight, so what happened?
The answer is that they treated the symptom, too much weight, without getting to the root of the problem. In other words, what mind sets or beliefs are causing them to eat too much and gain weight? Are they compulsive eaters? Are they emotional eaters or do they have habits that cause them to over eat?
